Noah, the singer’s eldest son, was diagnosed with the disease in 2016 at the age of three. In The Diary of a CEO podcast episode from December 21, Michael acknowledged, “It pulled the curtain from over my eyes.” “That was a sledgehammer to my reality.”

Michael shares Noah with his wife Luisana Lopilato, and he is currently in remission. Nevertheless, the “Haven’t Met You Yet” singer had to reassess his priorities after his baby son’s illness. “When it happened, I was going through a crisis,” he said. “I don’t believe I was a bad guy.
