Cameron Diaz – In fact, Cameron Diaz expressed her thoughts on couples giving each other space—quite literally—as she prepares to celebrate nine years of marriage to husband Benji Madden in January. On the December 19 edition of Molly Sims and Emese Gormley’s Lipstick on the Rim podcast, she stated, “We should normalize separate bedrooms,” following the cohosts’ discussion of one of their husbands’ terrible snoring.

“It would be exactly as follows: you have yours, I have mine, and we have the family home in the center. You go sleep in your room, and I’ll go sleep in mine. I’m alright. That’s not to say, though, that the Holiday actress doesn’t have a plan in place for keeping things intimate. “And we have the bedroom in the middle,” she said, “that we can convene in for, you know, our relations.” Benji has taken the time to brag about his wife on social media, even though Cameron and the Good Charlotte rocker—who are parents to a 3-year-old girl named Raddix—often keep their family life out of the public eye.

This contains his heartfelt eighth marriage anniversary greeting from the previous year. “In love, motivated, joyful, and appreciative. After eight years of marriage, side by side, and with a newborn to raise, the 44-year-old wrote. “Let’s do 80 more and then forever.” Nine months later, on Cameron’s 51st birthday, he posted an emotional message on Facebook, thanking Cameron for the life they’ve created together.

A month before getting married, Cameron Diaz showed off what looked to be Benji Madden’s engagement ring. “The first thing I said when I first met my husband was, ‘He’s hot,'” she recounts.
